This page includes links to several files which are better opened in Google Earth which you can downlaod from Google. The extension of the 5 files is “kmz”. Save the files in your hard drive for better viweing. Once you install Google Earth, you will be able to see the following:
- Roads from Sereja’kha to Gahtelaay and from Tzehaf-Laam to Era Ero.
The decsription of the locations are based on an Awate Team document titled, “The Obscure & Tragic End of the G-15” (linked). Using the description of the location, first the “Sereja’kha – Gahtelaay ” road was located and the map was drwan in green—note the Felfel location. After the location of “Tzehaf-Laam” was guessed, the road leading north of Tzehaf-Laam was traced in red to locate what appears to look like Era Ero. The road was measured by using the Google Earth ruler and the distance from “Tzehaf-Laam” to Ear Ero is estimated to be about 14.7 km.
A thorough study of the area didn’t yield any signs of other buildings or sites in the area. If you have any information you would like to add, please do not hesitate to contact us.
NB: These maps were researched by a freind of awate.com. The name of the researcher is withheld.
