The purpose of this message is to remind you of the ongoing fundraising activity. Below is all the information you need to donate and support Awate.com and Negarit.
We have been a voice for the voiceless for the last 23 years, promoting lofty national values and aspirations: peaceful coexistence, justice, and freedom. Our slogan has always been as follows: Inform. Inspire. Embolden. All in service of national reconciliation.
Only you can fund our operations, and we are grateful to all who are continually at the forefront of doing so. We are thankful to them.
We are soliciting your support to cover the bare minimum Some years ago, seeing the responses, we decided to limit our funding solicitation to cover only the bare minimum operational expenses, which we set at $12,000 a year. However, we never collected the total amount needed. We always suffer from shortages.
For the budget year 2024, our budget is $14,000. We launched the fundraising drive in January 2024, and to date, we have collected less than $3,000. We believe that with a small number of our friends, colleagues, and beneficiaries, our goal for 2024 will be reached in no time.
