First Fundraising Report
Dear Friends of awate.com,
On March 12, 2012, we launched our fundraising campaign and solicited your help. As you might know, sometimes awate.com has more than 7000 visits on a daily basis. It is our hope that enough readers will be generous enough at least to help maintain this website that has been serving them for many years.
So far, those who have responded to our appeal, though very few, have been generous. We hope the rest will respond and help us collect enough funds to help us run this website as smoothly as we have been doing since 2000.
To keep you abreast of the developments, we will give you a status report every two weeks or so.
The target we have put is $12,000, so far we have collected two-thousand, seven-hundred and forty-six dollars ($2,746) and we hope our readers will be responsive and help generously so that we can move to our next plan.
For those who have contributed, we will send you a receipt at the end of the month of your contribution.
We thank those who have donated: we appreciate your generosity. And we appeal to the rest to help us bear the burden by chipping in whatever their budget allows. You have always counted on us; and now we are counting on you.
